Well, it has been a long time. I guess since this is the first post in many months I should begin with a brief summary. Here it goes -
Winter/Spring : finished out soccer
Summer : tried out for club team, made club team, LSU soccer camp, BRSC soccer camp, Camp Smiling Acres, school shopping, school started, club soccer practice started
Fall: can anyone say soccer? soccer games, soccer practice, soccer tournaments, attend LSU soccer games to see Kate (and because we promised George), soccer interrupted by hurricanes
Now that I have mentioned hurricanes I might as well say that Katrina and Rita disrupted and redefined normal. That’s all I will say on that subject for now.
Fast forward to November 2nd. I have a brand new nephew, Nicholas Scott. He’s a sweetheart and we are all so thrilled to have him here.
Thanksgiving has come and gone. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for.
Did I mention that we have started the winter soccer program two nights a week and added a private session with Kate one night a week? Add to that athletic training on another night of the week and you have 4 nights a week of – you guessed it – SOCCER!
